I'm passionate about working with Spanish speaking communities . As a first-generation Colombian-American immigrant, I enjoy exploring themes about culture, language, traditions and family roles in diverse communities of various cultural backgrounds.
I also emphasize using a strength centered approach with clients.

Mi nombre es Mónica Murillo Parra. Soy graduada de Teachers College en la Universidad de Columbia del programa de consejería. Me entusiasma poder trabajar con la comunidad de habla hispana. Como inmigrante colombiano-estadounidense de primera generación, disfruto explorar temas sobre cultura, lenguaje, tradiciones y roles familiares en diversas comunidades de varios orígenes culturales. También enfatizo el uso de un enfoque centrado sobre fortalezas de los clientes con quien trabajo.
